Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with USBasp Programmer
So I double and triple checked everything. I even redid the wiring to the screen controller board with high gauge cable (previously I had used the cable that was already soldered which was slightly smaller gauge). And still nothing from the screen. I am totally baffled by this. I don't really want t...

Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with USBasp Programmer
Hi, So I have been having the problem that I have read of from a few other people's builds. Every so often, there is a slight delay on a button press. It is no one specific button. It was totally minor, but I am greedy and I wanted to fix it so that it was running perfectly. I also couldn't seem to...

Re: Bypass headphone jack helder 2.2
I had not, but I just tried that and it doesn't seem to be any different. One thing that I notice is that when my volume is turned down fairly low, it sounds fine. I would prefer to be able to play with it louder though hah. "Distorted" maybe isn't how I would describe it...maybe..."choppy" would be...

Re: Bypass headphone jack helder 2.2
Ok I connected headphone in to speaker out. I'm not 100% sure what you mean by connecting the two channels together? Do you mean to just run a wire from left out speaker to right out speaker? As it is now, I have sound, but for the most part, it sounds very laggy almost as if the emulators were not ...

Re: Picture not centered on screen
Disregard this. I dug more and found the answer. I didn't realize that you could actually move the picture with overscan. I always thought that overscan was exclusively for the size of the screen.

Picture not centered on screen - Solved
So I am wrapping up my first build, and per a separate post, I had to get a new screen because I messed up my controller board. I went with the 3.5 composite screen that is linked in wermy's guide. For some reason this new screen doesn't center the picture. It seems to be high and to the right. Does...

Bypass headphone jack helder 2.2
Hi, I am trying to figure out how I would wire up the speaker to bypass the headphone jack on helders aio 2.2. I have the volume wheel wired up correctly, but the sound was pretty bad and I figured it was due to my poor soldering on the headphone jack. I just want to go around the headphone jack all...

Re: Help Removing Solder
Thanks for the response. I ended up getting some desoldering wick and basically made the problem worse. I ended up just buying a new screen hah. Hopefully I'm smart enough to not have this problem again. Almost doneee

Help Removing Solder
Hi, So I was finally to the point where I was just finishing my first game boy zero build. I had acquired the last few components and had done the vast majority of the work. All I needed to to was solder in my new volume wheel and replace my worn button pads. As soon as I went to tin my wires, I had...
