I didn't touch the battery compartment, instead i use 4 AA NI-MH batteries and a boost converter to power the pi zero... until now, everything fits, but it is a bit tight and usb audio is still missing. Only micro-usb output, no space for hdmi and others.

So i had the first (wiki-style) gearbest screen, burned the board, ordered a second one, which is the "new" generation gearbest screen obviously. I used the same soldering as you, works fine. However, did someone manage to add buttons to this board to regulate brightness ? Or is there maybe some oth...
