Re: Andrey's CSO build - clear SNES version
How did you stick the screen frame to the clear case without it looking like ass from the outside?!

Re: Custom Kitsch Bent zero case
So, I feel like this is relevant. I had my build in a DMG case, but decided to can it and put it into a kitsch-bent case. I love it, it is very comfortable and makes it easier to build a little bit. The extra space around the speaker helped me put a 4 ohm Dayton speaker instead of the thin metal spe...

Re: Button Press Delay
Any joy with either the pads, cleaning, or reprogramming? I'm having the same issue.Lphillimore wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2017 9:39 pmThanks, @helder - that's useful to know - I seem to recall the last Pro Micro I used Sota's code on had similar issues so changed it. Will rule out membranes first as advised then worst case reprogram. Cheers

Re: DMG Metal Shielding (technical question)
I removed mine completely, cut a piece of black sheet styrene to fit that area, and glued it down and attached everything to that. The metal shielding just gets in the way and creates a potential shorting hazard.

Re: Best way to countersink holes for extra buttons?
So the best idea is to use a countersink bit. Relithe mentioned a ½ countersink bit. Did anyone else use a different size before I order one? I already ordered a set down/up but to drill the buttons for the holes. I really like the idea of going it by hand. Didn't even think of that. Thanks for inp...

Re: Best way to countersink holes for extra buttons?
I used a 1/2 countersink bit and then sanded using my scale model hobby sanding stick thingys. Didn't think about doing it by hand, I used a drill. Would have saved a lot of work doing it that way I think. But it still came out good.

Re: White Screen of Death!!
Who knows. Had the EXACT same screen come in yesterday. It was white-screened out of the box. These things are trash, this is the third one I have gotten that has been absolute crap. I just ordered one on ebay (just the screen and board, not a backup camera) and if that one doesn't work I quit. This...

Re: Gameboy zero all in one pcb
You don't need an AIO to complete the build. You can get a GBZ common ground PCB from several places, including Amazon and kitsch-bent, and you can also get the pwm audio filter, etc from kitsch-bent as well. For your controls you can use the Teensy or even an arduino micro. The AIO is a nicety.
