Unable to Get Composite Video Anymore - Resistor missing

Hi people - as you can tell I can get my Composite display working anymore. It was working fine - I thinks its because I've accidently desoldered a SMD resistor on the board next to the TV out pin. I've got a Raspberrry Pi Zero W bellow is a pic with the resistor in question (I don't have a working ...

Re: Need help converting BW to 5V

Hi, I got this board form BW. Seems some sort of remix of the one you were discussing about in this topic. One problem is that the number of one of the chips is scarcely visible. It is the one in yellow in the photo; in the detail photo the number seems to be MK 25D46BTIO 1720, but I'm not sure (th...

Re: [GUIDE] 3.5 inch HDMI Display - high energy usage

So I've been able to get the screen up and running - but during the last week I wasn't super careful with the screen and cracked it - at least I thought I had, and I did. I was able to solder off the screen which made desoldering the header alot easier. I've got another screen on order but I''d lik...

Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.0 for BangGood/GearBest/Generic power Supply

i don't really get what your trying to achieve, especially how you've managed to butcher your safe shutdown board.... (the board doesn't need to be touched) Basically I want a script/application that will handle both HoolyHoo's battery indicator and Camble's safeshutdown plus anything else I want t...

Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.0 for BangGood/GearBest/Generic power Supply

I've got an issue with my safe shutdown device. This isn't a warranty request as I've probably damaged the board - I've lost a couple pads (which I've traced) and pretty sure I shorted something and broke it. Now I've checked all the values of the resistors and tested the capacitors and diode. They ...

Re: [GUIDE] 3.5 inch HDMI Display - high energy usage

I've now removed the usb port and backlight control switch and it seems that the 5v0 rail is being sent to ground. The butchering that I've done - I tried to scrape away some stuff around the port to see if that would fix it - it didn't. When working on the board are people removing the screen from ...

Re: [GUIDE] 3.5 inch HDMI Display - high energy usage

Great guide - Currently in process of modding the screen to use less power - Thank you for everyones work. I had a question about the screen - Has anyone gotten HDMI audio working ? I cant seem to get it to work - does it require the GPIO header to be plugged in ? From what i could tell thats only n...

Great build and thank you for the inspiration with the ADS1115 + HoolyHoo battery monitor, I've just ordered one. Are you going to be adding the steps of this to this guide ?

Re: New BW Variant - InnoLux 5v MOD Help

Ok So looking at the other side of the board there is a 5v point on the board http://preview.ibb.co/c3zZ5b/IMG_2488.jpg Which I've got working - Now I traced it back to a couple of points back on top - specifically to the JW5002s 2A, 20V Synchronous Step-Down Converter on PIN 3. Ill Draw up a better...
