Re: The ghosting annoyance! Help!!

Haha is a heap for the detailed reply. I'll check out all these factors when I get home tonight and do a couple test prints. With all this information I'm sure I should be able to correct it.

Thanks again!

Yup. Tighten belts and slow down your speed. You may need to tweak acceleration settings, too.
What would be a good acceleration to set? Would it have anything to do with jerk settings also? Printer in an anet a8.

Thanks for the reply!

What kind of printer do you hvae, and what speed are you printing at? Ghosting is usually a result of printing too fast, or one (or more) of your belts being a little loose. Assuming you printed it with the text facing the front or back of your printer then that would mean the Y axis would be the b...

Word of warning though, I've tried out 3d-printed buttons and they don't work very well in my opinion. Unless you sand them to perfection they will catch on the case.
I'll see how they come out. 9therwose I'll wait for you to get more stock in haha

The ghosting annoyance! Help!!

So I'm pretty new to 3d printing.. but most or the stuff I print turns out really good! Except for lettering and other images that are inset into prints.. I get ghosting and don't no how to fix it. The bottom turned put good though.

Ndsl button models?

Just wondering if anyone has 3d printed the d's lite buttons? And if so, do you have an STL?

Otherwise would someone that is experienced in 3d modeling be able to design some up?

Only asking as I'm having trouble finding the buttons without spending an obsured amount

Re: MintyPi XL - The Remix

Just check out the minty pi guide. Using the newest minty pi image and wiring the button in the same spot is all you need. Also. In the newest image you can easily change the gpio number in the pinfile.txt to use whatever gpio you want. Cool that is a heap. Also what screen is it that's being used....
