I used the teensy 3.2 for my un compleate pi3 retropie gameboy. Just open Wermy's ino sketch with Arduino 1.8.2 (make sure you also installed Teensyduino too), then select the right bord in the tools menu e.g teensy 3.2 and then select keyboard mouse gamepad.
