Re: Tim's GBZ [WIP]
Hi Tim,
Are you able to use HDMI or composite without changing your settings? (HDMI ON if wired at startup, else composite ON)
Good job for your GBZ

HDMI out
Hi,
Does anybody use HDMI output in addition to composite? I'd occasionally use my GBZ on TV with 2 controllers on USB.
If yes, how do you do?
THanks !

Re: RasPiZeroBoy build #2 (in progress)
Hi,
This kind of boardis cheap and works fine, you can also replace the 4 leds by a tricolor one.
The only thing you need is a "double" switch to shutdown battery indicator board and raspberry at the same time.

Re: Bangood Powerboost Wiring to Power Switch? Vs. Adafruit?
I got one from eBay, and I can charge an play, with no heat. I found too a battery level indicator like this . You can replace the four leds by a tricolor one, because all cathod are linked. Then you ave to add a switch Double Pole Single Throw to cut PI supply and battery indicator at same time. Al...

Re: Game Pie Advance
Nice job!
I agree with day, 14500 battery can barely reach 900mAh, the best I know are Sanyo's UR14500P 840mah 14500.
I use 2 of them on my GBA Zero and I Have nearly 3h playing.

Re: Battery level indicator
There is a green led on power boost to know when charge is over. This battery indicator show battery level from the moment of you turn on (raspberry on or off, whatever).
I think when you have only the red LED on, you can turn off properly your raspberry without problem.

Re: Power boost/charger wiring
Put a switch between battery+ and power board doesn't worked. During first use first connect input (mini USB) to a 5V source prior to connecting any battery. . So each time you shut down then turn up the battery, you need to have the power board on charge. There is a 180uA current when nothing is us...

Re: Battery level indicator
@day : I bought this one. (10 days for delivery to FR! It said 15-34
)
I wired it between B+ et B-.
@Camble: you're right, it should work, but you need LED working at nearly same voltage

Re: Battery level indicator
I received the board, everything is fine, except I have to add a switch between it and my battery because without it's powered all the time.
And I think I can't use a RGB led because original leds has no common cathod =/
