[Solved] Trouble with diagonals

Anyone else having trouble with diagonal inputs? I have tried several different games but if I press up and right (or any other diagonal combination) it only goes up or right never diagonally. Is this a software issue? Or maybe I put the hardware together wrong? I can't figure it out. Everything els...

Ouch, sorry man that sucks. Glad you got it all together and working though.
Oh it's fine. I don't really notice when I'm playing. It was a bunch of fun figuring it out. Mistakes happen. I'm just glad I didn't break it.

Re: mintyPi 2.0

How did you slip with the screw driver? the plastic isn't that hard to screw into. It happened after a confluence of bad decisions. 1) it was very late and I was very tired. 2) I couldn't find the right screwdriver and used one that was too small which stripped the screw a bit. 3) because I cut and...

Re: mintyPi 2.0

That's awesome. I actually had mine up and running last night but when I put everything into the tin the screen went white. I got my boards today and I confess to being a bit nervous about the LCD board. The ribbon connectors on that board are quite crooked. I'm worried that may cause an issue when...

Re: mintyPi 2.0

In fact I'm looking forward to this more than my gameboy mod. Probably because it has a much lower expectation threshold with more WTF factor ;) IMG_20170714_140254.jpg In other news, some of my bits are going to get evicted from their current home :D That's awesome. I actually had mine up and runn...

Re: Purchase limits (and a rant)

Wow, just when you thought you had seen it all! There is always someone trying to make a fast buck, if it's not the 'pre loaded' SD cards for silly money then it's a pi in a box for 3 times the price of the parts. You are well within your rights to limit sales, maybe even include the forum into it,...

Re: Purchase limits (and a rant)

Definitely shady to go behind your back like that. Do what you gotta do, If you have a limit and/or don't release the files that is fine by me, since I only plan to build one for myself. I'm not in it to make cash. I plan to 100% purchase a kit when they are available. I'll happily to pay whatever ...

Re: mintyPi 2.0 News & Updates

Questions like that make me envision a glut of these appearing on eBay with RetroPie and ROMs preinstalled. Well, I was looking to buy two one for myself and one to build for my brother,I wasn't looking to mass produce and over charge. I'm also looking to build one for me and another as a gif...

Nice work! Those batteries are tiny. Where did you get them?
Thanks I got them from adafruit. They are the 500 MAh batteries. I used 2 in my build but I originally had it working with just 1 and got about 2 hours out of it.
