Re: GBZ build with Kite SAIO
Mine might have been different because I used buttons from a SNES controller from Amazon and not original Gameboy buttons.......

Re: GBZ build with Kite SAIO
The Hoolyhoo screen/button bracket makes the new top buttons sit higher than than the stock bottom buttons. When you screw down the Kite AIO it causes the buttons to not have as much travel. I had to trim out some material inside the button wells so they could sit down further. I am sure that is men...

Re: GBZ build with Kite SAIO
Thank you for the compliments. I wish you had seen it sooner too so I could have sold it to you :D The battery is from ebay.....it was recommended on one of the posts I read when creating my build. It fits exactly in the battery bay once you grind down the original AA battery spacers. Not very hard ...

***SOLD*** GBZ build with Kite SAIO
So I had a really fun time building these but I think I am ready to try something else and want to give this a good home with someone who will play with it more than I will. Not looking to make a profit just want to recoup some of my investment to go to the next project. Here is what is included: Gr...

(SOLD) GBZ for sale
Unit has been sold! I have decided to put my Gameboy Zero up for sale to finance my next Gameboy Zero build :D I pretty much followed Wermy's build except I put the Pi Zero W in the cartridge slot covered by a blank cartridge with a slot cut out on the top for SD card access. Here is what is in the...

PI Zero W composite pinout
I have a question concerning the composite solder holes on the PI Zero W. I have mostly been following Wermy's guide and he uses a PI Zero. The composite video goes in the hole closest to the "TV" marking which is the solder hole towards the SD side of the board and is square in shape.... I have a P...

Re: HoolyHoo's AIO bracket for Kite's SAIO Board
Sorry if this has been answered but I read through this thread and didn't see it. I ordered one of these to use with my Kite board when it arrives but I also have one of Helders boards on order for another build. I really like the bracket....is there any reason it won't work with Helders board?
