Re: [Guide] ili9341 SPI TFT Screen on Retropie

Got the 2.4" to work without problems, but cannot get this 3.2" to work. It's only giving me a white screen (backlight on, no data). Screen Using this board from OSH Park linked in here. Using the code that's worked before, but I've got nothing. All connections are seemingly correct too: VCC - VCC G...

Re: Renegade labs AIO

For other types of boards search for tinkerboys boards (he's based in the philipenes) as well as retrogamingnow's website (rgn sells helders aio boards and is US based). http://www.tinkerboy.xyz https://www.retrogamingnow.com/pro-shop/all-in-one-pcb-board RGN always shows it as sold out... any way ...

As for double/tripple presses:
Regarding Softwareproblems you can either use another joystick-Library ( more difficult ), but the easier Method would be to add a Delay at the end of your Method.

Code: Select all

Delay(100); // This will add a 100ms ( 1/10 second ) Delay
Here's the delay. Add it to the end.

Re: [Guide] ili9341 SPI TFT Screen on Retropie

i guess it depends what data connections that screen has. There are usually 4 main types -SPI -DPI -8 bit parallel -16 bit parallel Some screens have just a few pins that can be set high or low to change the communication modes. others are set within the screen itself, and can not be changed. The o...

Re: [Guide] ili9341 SPI TFT Screen on Retropie

not really sure about that/these screen..... it does mention ili9341 drivers, but they may only be suitable for arduino projects (not 100% sure) but i would suggest WR = D/C (still not sure if it will work, please give feedback if it does) if i was to have a crack at that screen, i'd try this (stil...

Re: [Guide] ili9341 SPI TFT Screen on Retropie

I followed this guide, and got a 2.8" screen running awesome. I tried to follow this guide for a 3.2" that I got on eBay, but the pinouts are different and I've tried a mix of different pins, but can't get anything to show up on screen. The backlight fires up when probed, but no data appears (consol...

Hello Goosewerks, did you went further on this project ?
No, unfortunately I haven't. I did get button layouts for Eagle from 32teeth, but I haven't imported my DXF's into Eagle and started to do the traces and whatnot yet.
