I love this, it works amazingly well with RetroPie. But when I was testing it’s output against an iBUFFALO SNES-style gamepad, I noticed the signals were coming out completely differently. I’ve designed and uploaded a a drop-in replacement board for the WonderSwan. It’s a bit on the expensive side but you’ll get three and save a lot of time on the build!

Making a WonderSwan USB gamepad
I wired up a broken WonderSwan to an Arduino Pro Micro and turned it into a USB controller. Straight up front, I have to say all the code is based on Sota’s 14 button + 2 Analog controller tutorial. I've succeeded at making a usb controller that shows up on my Mac but when i plug it into my raspberry Pi 3, in either raspbian or retropie, it's not seen. Did you go through any other steps to get your USB controller to work?
