Honestly, I'm not sure but the PowerSwitch was designed for the DM-01 case.

Can you paste what you have in your config.txt? Also make sure the script is running.

should i power the screen off of the pi zero or not... i was wondering if it is to much for it Unlike it's bigger brother the Pi3/Pi4, the pi zero has no fuse from the 5v microusb input so it doesn't matter where you power any 5v device.
