Re: Not charging?
What does the indicator look like? A small plug symbol, or a lightning bolt symbol? Have you ever plugged the battery in the wrong way round? The indicator looks like a small plug symbol. And I've never plugged the battery in the wrong way as far as I'm aware - I've always been really careful about...

Not charging?
I finally got around to building my circuit sword. Everything works fine except charging - when I plug in a USB-C cable the LEDs all light up, the battery charging indicator appears in the top-right corner, but the battery icon never fills up - it just keeps draining. Is this a known problem? Can I ...

Re: [ PRE ORDER ] Gameboy Zero PocketPi FE
Yeah, at this point I've just had a really negative experience with GalaxyGaming overall. I ordered two precut shell kits (not even PocketPi FE kits, so it's not like they were on preorder) November of last year and haven't heard a thing about them. Here's what I did: 1. Emailed GG in December. No r...

Re: SAIO LCD only displaying half of rows, leading to washed out display
Are you using a Pi3? Have you check that the pin is soldered ok the Pi3 end? Do you happen to have a spare LCD to try? It's a fairly common LCD for those reversing screens.. If none of that applies, next best thing is probably to send it in to me and I can look and repair. PM me if you want to take...

SAIO LCD only displaying half of rows, leading to washed out display
I was derailing https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=53083, so I'll make a new thread. Just to summarize, I was having issues where my screen looked washed out; further investigation with my phone camera showed that only half the rows were showing colors. I don't have an oscilloscope so I can't...

Re: Kite SAIO LCD washed out / text illegible
Hm it probably isn't correctly soldered still, that pin is 'data enable' and it is toggled when the display is allowed to read data, as anything outside of that data is 'not valid' and I suspect that is missing it up.. make sure that the pin on the Pi has no shorts to GND, and then if you have a sp...

Re: Kite SAIO LCD washed out / text illegible
https://i.imgur.com/Eohc8P6.png Yikes, that looks nearly impossible to solder. Are there any alternatives? Not impossible but very tricky! :P unfortunately DEN is one of the important pins that if not connected the LCD won't show.. :/ Okay, I managed to solder to that pin with a really thin wire, b...

Re: Kite SAIO LCD washed out / text illegible
@kite I'm having the same issue, and it's because my GPIO28 isn't properly connected - I accidentally ripped off a pad while soldering (on both sides somehow...) Is there an alternative place where I can bridge the connection? https://www.element14.com/community/servlet/JiveServlet/previewBody/73950...
