Re: Question about compatibility with newer compute module 3+

From what I've seen it appears to be possible but the only benefit is better cooling which isn't really needed due to the fan and heatsink the kit comes with.

Gem will only boot once

Hi folks, me again. Maybe someone has bumped into this before and can give me some advice? Right now if I wipe an sd card and install the gem image on it I can boot the unit once. Once I do a safe shutdown and try to turn the unit back on it'll just hang at the kite logo. If I wipe the card and put ...

Circuit Gem switch didn't make it

Hey folks,

I got a Circuit Gem in the mail recently and was going through the power on, power off stages of testing and my switch broke. Anyone know what switch this is and what all the pins are for on it?

led drill guide placement

I recently started on my CS build and noticed it came with a little drill template for the leds. I've stared at the case and it for a bit, moving it around here and there, but honestly I'm not sure where I should put it to line up the holes the best. Anyone got some pictures of the led drill guide p...

Thoughts on a steam link gb?

Hey folks, my buddy gave me this steam link and I was thinking about throwing it into a GameBoy. Looks like it would fit just perfect if you don't care about a battery. Anyone given this a go before? Its like its made for the Game Boy https://i.imgur.com/4LQvJJc.jpg https://i.imgur.com/po5cJQI.jpg B...

Taking your GBZ on a plane

Hey folks,

For the most part my unit looks like a standard gameboy minus the Raspi 3 sticking out the game slot but on the inside its really just a mess of wires and a huge battery. Anyone taken their GBZ on a plane? Did they give you any crap at TSA?
