This is a picture of the board. The battery plugs into the black plug and the Atmel microcontroller is supposedly for the gamepad. Another thing I noticed is that it uses PWM audio. In my opinion one can hear that the audio sounds less clean than from USB audio.

Re: PiBoy DMG by ExperimentalPi
I got my Pi Boy DMG unit and wanted to post my thoughts here: The good: Performance (with a Pi4) is excellent as expected The 640x480 screen is very nice. It's feasible to use nice looking shaders for Gameboy or CRT. Build quality is decent The bad: The thing is heavy. It's heavier (with a Pi4) than...

mintyPi v4.0 with DPI screen?

Re: PiBoy DMG by ExperimentalPi
I am wondering how much the battery life will suffer with a Pi 4 and 4500 mAh battery.

PiBoy DMG by ExperimentalPi
Hi guys, I wanted to know if anyone has thoughts about the PiBoy DMG by ExperimentalPi ? The 640x480 screen and option to use Raspberry Pi 4 are really tempting. Also the price is very good compared to buying all the components and an AIO board. The only thing turning me off is the Micro USB power p...

Re: HUD not showing after update
If you update from an old raspbian Jessie image than that is what happens, unfortunately. The new hud drawing needs some newer libraries which are only available on Stretch (if you don't want to compile yourself). My recommendation is to do a fresh install, after backing up files and settings.

Re: PICO 8 audio speed
Did something change with the way sound is done with raspbian stretch (or the latest circuit-sword image)? For some reason the fix above doesn't work anymore and breaks sound everywhere.

Re: Clear Blue Kite's Circuit Sword
How is the feeling of the back buttons? I assume they are just DMG start and select buttons with Kites back buttons PCB?

Re: PICO 8 audio speed
BTW, I just wanted to put this excellent guide here for adding PICO 8 to emulationstation: https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=3935
It now also covers my audio fix.
