Hey Giles, sorry my bad... unfortunately is didnt short the "PWR" jumpers on the top of the board, as i thought it isnt needed when running the tester mode. A friend of mine (whos way more into the project than me) gave me this hint. So everything works fine now. I'll keep on building ;) Many thanks...

i did, no success. but even with the other RPi3 the same results, therefore i suspect something wrong with the SAIO, or what do you think?
What about the led of the USBhub? Is it supposed to illuminate even when there is nothing connected?
