There is a new PWM driver too for the Pi and it cleans audio immensely. Look for the audio_pwm_mode=2 on google for more info. I have the same BW screens. Both have AMT630 video chips that get so hot. The LCDs also get hot. I think everyone's read about how text is an issue on these 240p screens but dont seem to realise the emulated games are pretty much all rendered at 240p. Very nice build! I like the charging port like the original. What screen are you using? The adafruit screen from Wermy's original guide. https://www.adafruit.com/product/913 I ordered the current amazon reverse lcd and got v7 off the wiki and didnt have to deal with any weird glue it just unscrewed...

you must buy pins for the galaxy s2 i9100 phone. The pins are used in other samsung phones but i didn't managed to find a list of compatibility. I'm still in the middle of ordering my parts for a first build but I've been researching batteries ALOT. My first issue with the batteries being used on here is they're softpacks which are being stuffed into various places in the gameboy and just aren't suitable to have components stuffed up against...

Crazyfrog, you need to grind either left or right side of the battery compartment just enough before making a hole into it... it's a matter of 1 or 1,5mm lacking to fit the battery... I suppose that with the pogo pins, we will need to grind both sides to give some loose otherwise you will insert ba...
