Bad overhangs on MK3...

I'm currently giving my MK3 a run for the money (finally getting to use it now that school's started and everyone goes to bed earlier  ) I believe I've got my leveling down as when I do the live z calibration and it gets to the last "block", my bottom squishes well to form as one piece and the ...

Cheap, DIY Workbench Plans...

Just thought I'd share this to anyone who's looking to make or consolidate their work areas to a manageable location. I created my electronics workstation originally but never kept the sketches. As the need for a location to put my printers became imperative (my wife relented on her stance of only o...

Re: Still have a shiver from this...

And they moved the shipping date on their table. Twice. I know it's going to be worth the wait, but the waiting sucks. In the meantime, I've managed to purchase 2 "As-Is" Monoprice Select Mini printers off Ebay for cheap. Based off the descriptions, I was pretty sure they just needed firmware update...

Still have a shiver from this...

Been saving for months and was finally able to bite the bullet for a new printer: shiver.jpg Wife made a condition that I had to ditch one of the two I had already (printers and the workbench are eating up a lot of downstairs space that she feels could be better spent being taken up by another dozen...

Re: Raspberry Pi emulator inside of wallet? :0

This sounds like a double-edged sword here.

My wallet is empty because of investing in a lot of projects.
I could use that empty space to build an emulator by filling it with another project that will ensure the empty space.

Please don't tell me you actually kept the thing? Just do that thing some other member did, and shoot it from a far distance, and watch it explode. These things tend to get a lot of views on youtube.... That was me and was hellu' fun! I found some old cell phones that my wife and I haven't used in ...

Re: SCORE!!!!

With 2 AIY kits, I get to try it with a Pi 3 and with a Zero W as I am reading people having success with that one too. I am also not thrilled with Cura and am considering trying out Octoprint for at least one of my printers. I've got several options for that too as Octoprint works with various Pi's...

I made a thing!

I'm still pretty new to 3D printing and really new to trying to use any of the creation software, so bear with me and my primitive design(s). :) Like many, I have many projects that are incomplete. One of them being the PiGRRL Zero designed by Adafruit. I had started it using the original case desig...
