ok...guess im ouuta luck, I didnt build this unit, I was hoping it was a common enough problem that had a fix of some sort.

I bought a handmade Gameboy Zero with a Pi 3 inside, anyway unit makes a hiss or white noise even when the volume is all the way down. Is there anyway to correct this issue? The noise gets pretty loud an annoying. :geek: your gonna have to give more details of what the build consists of.... ideally...

Audio hiss/white noise gameboy zero
I bought a handmade Gameboy Zero with a Pi 3 inside, anyway unit makes a hiss or white noise even when the volume is all the way down. Is there anyway to correct this issue? The noise gets pretty loud an annoying.

You can glue some of that rubber stuff on there, the stuff you use to repair your bicycle tires with, but don't take too thick. For example you can cut some nice rounds, and glue them ontop of the other rubber pads. Remember, dont go too thick, best to test some first before glueing them in there f...

right, I'm considering swapping it for another dpad or maybe (like you said) gluing something to it to make it more sensitive. AS for the screen, it's funny how I didnt notice until I got the unit, that its fairly dim, maybe mid brightness on a dslite. Whites looks like greys etc. It's fairly appar...
