Re: MintyPi Practice Solder Boards {Ruin These and NOT Your Real Boards}
This is genius. Won my Mintypi so Wermy did the actual soldering, but was thinking of making something like the GBA pi thing that Ryzee made. Gonna need to brush up on the necessary technique.

Re: SNESpi
My only guess is that it's to avoid having to have any sort of storage for settings. If I ever need to have a pi boot from usb, I'll just have it handoff from the sd card. Unless it's a zero. Those are cheap enough I don't feel bad making permanent changes to it.

Re: [POLL] - Signed mintyPi Giveaway
Heard somewhere that the cost of all those ad supported websites, if you paid for them instead of letting them sell off your personal info, would be $12 a year. Not per site. Total. So yeah, I'll support the site.

Re: Win 10 steam handheld
Most button solutions are just connected directly to gpio pins. So they won't work. Anything involving a teensy should work fine though. That's sort of teensy's deal.

Re: Wii U Gamepad zero/gamepi project thread
I can actually think of some uses of the touchscreen. SCUMMVM, DosBox, DS, maybe strategus? Could probably use v-usb to make it into a usb touchpad. [Edit]Scratch that, just use this . It even has a calibration program. Windows only, but you can just plug it into a pc for the calibration before conn...

GBAZero project, spitballing some ideas...
So, I am dissatisfied with existing GBA Zero projects, and so I'm blazing a new trail. Some ideas: planning on using the same chip from the powerboost 1000, but leaving off the boost converter since mintypi demonstrates that the zero will happily run straight off a lipo. pursuant to that, an attiny ...

Re: Safe shutdown?
From what I can see, the mausberry is the same as the atxraspi or any of the other safe shutdown systems. When you frob the button or the switch an attiny sends a signal to the pi which runs the shutdown script. As its final act the pi sends a signal back. The attiny waits a few seconds to be sure, ...
