Best place for ROMS?
Hi all, Now that I’ve nearly finished building my MintyPi, I’ve realised I need to be getting some ROMS on there very shortly. I don’t actually have any, although I do have cartridges, cassettes, CDs etc dating all the way back to the Atari 2600 & ZX Spectrum 48k. Where is the best place to get ROMS...

Re: Dashtag's MintyPi Build
Still struggling with my 3D prints
The thin bit on the left hand side of the screen bezel prints ok for about 4 or 5 layers, but then starts to curl up, & when I push it back down, it never goes to the right exact spot.

Re: Dashtag's MintyPi Build
All components and wires now installed in the base of the tin. IMG_8103.JPG Just waiting on the speakers from China to progress! One issue I am having is the Pi intermittently rebooting. I've attached the Pi to the button pcb, and installed the battery monitor with the two wires to the gpio holes. A...

Re: Setting up Wifi
Aha! Yes, I checked that it booted in the Pi as soon as I'd burned it.
In the end, I just re-burnt the MintyPi image as I had v2 and I noticed it'd had been upgraded to v3.

Setting up Wifi
Hi,
I've burnt the latest image of retropi (with the battery monitoring scripts) using ApplePiBaker, but I can't find the wpa_supplicant.conf file in the boot directory.
Can I just create a new text/conf file and put the 2 lines into it?
Actually what are the 2 lines? Lol
Cheers,

Re: Dashtag's MintyPi Build
Soldering of Pi Zero to MintyPi Button PCB very nearly complete. IMG_8079.JPG The only one that's causing me problems is the Y pad. I've tried pushing the soldering iron in at least 20 times, and still no joy. Any ideas before I solder some wire between the pads? The only issue I had was with which ...

Re: Dashtag's MintyPi Build
Yeh, yours look really great.
My fingers did ache like hell at the end!
I'm hoping to use the same button as the L & R ones. I didn't even think if it would catch the
Pi. Time will tell!

Re: Dashtag's MintyPi Build
In creating all the holes in the tin, I decided to use a small off cut of wood pressed against the inside so the tin didn't deform. I then manually used 1.5mm, 2mm & 3mm drill bits, and a round file for the button switch holes and flat ones for the others. IMG_8068.JPG The results:- IMG_8069.JPG IMG...
