Re: Battery lasting with some tweaks
I can test mine. Does it matter the game or system I play during the test?

Re: Mintypi Freezing Mid-Game
Thanks YaYa. That's what I figured but was seeing changing power sources as a troubleshooting step when searching this issue online in regards to retropie running on an rPi zero.

Re: Mintypi Freezing Mid-Game
Right, but the latest recommended board does not regulate the power from my understanding, it just charges the LiPo. Edit: So my real question is, when the LiPo is drained to 3.7 volts is the rPi seeing that 3.7v or is the voltage stepped up to 5v through the pcb somehow before getting to the rPi. L...

Re: Mintypi Freezing Mid-Game
I've seen a lot of troubleshooting tips for the raspberry pie mention to use a different power supply. Does Helder's PCB regulate the voltage going to the raspberry pie or is it just fed the voltage straight from the LiPo.

Re: Mintypi Freezing Mid-Game
Anyone find any other decent solutions to this freezing other than removing overclock? I've tried this but my GBA games are still freezing. Everything looks to be running fine, no stuttering or slowness, and all of a sudden the system freezes. No buttons work and I have to shut down by turning off t...

Re: Finally built my MintyPi
I'm going off my knowledge of charging lipos for RC vehicles. I have never even has 6s 1400mah lipos take more than an hour to charge. If this is normal for the XCSOURCE TP4056 then I can live with it but I have 1s 600mah lipos for small helicopters as well and those take about 20 minutes to charge....

Re: Finally built my MintyPi
Charging shouldn't take a couple hours, right? How do I go about testing the charger to male sure it's charging at the correct amperage?
Edit: to clarify my question, do I have to unsolder the battery from the charger to properly test it?

Re: Finally built my MintyPi
As mentioned in my OP I got it when Helder was making the second run of parts in October IIRC. As a professional procrastinator I just recently got the rest of the parts to build it.

Actually the MinyPi symbol was made by my mom out of vinyl on her cricut.
