Odd high pitched whine through audio
I didnt notice this at first because its such a high pitch, but my 2nd GBZ is making an incredibly high pitched whine for some odd reason. Circuit: CrudeAudioFile.png If i dont ground A- then i dont head the whine, but the audio is also suuuper quiet if i do that. I'm at a loss what could be causing...

What i mean is i finally got the stupid audio working on my 2nd GBZ im making for my brother (amp problems...) but i noticed a problem i was not expecting. I cant turn the sound off lol. I turn the B103 volume knob all the way down and i can still hear the game playing. I didnt have this issue last ...

Welp, i poked at it with a voltmeter and yeah i had the right pins (or atleast the 2 that are output, no idea if i got L vs R right lol). I get this really weird popping noise when i play a game, making me think i wired something wrong or my amp is bad. Time to dig around and try to find veterangame...

well...thats unnerving...thats the pins i used. Crap lol... Ugh that means either the pins w/o the jack are different than just tapping off the top of the jack, i damaged it removing it (doesnt look like i damaged it), or my amp is messed up. Hey Salami, out of curiosity do you know the pinouts for the headphone jack?
I think i screwed up by pulling the jack off the board ahead of time lol. Having difficulty finding out what pinhole is what.

Yes it defaults to HDMI since thats all the basic pi has for audio.
i dont use USB audio so i havnt tested this out but theres this page on it i found

Not sure if it will be of help but this happened to me: Mine is set to use PWM audio. Somehow in the 2 weeks i had it assembled my audio quit. Plugged around for a couple hours and my literal only possibility was the volume knob got messed up somehow. I swapped it out and it worked fine again. Some ...
