I faced a "white screen" issue too but it was with SPI connections. However my tests and tries reveals that most of the time the connection flat wire is to well connected. Dust can also be your enemy. Try to clean everything with alcohol. I resolved my issue with this method.

The type "Key" is case sensitive. I'm not sure about the "()" after "new Key" so try both ways.

Unless you're aware of linux driver development, you can't have easily a device that combine GPIO digital input and teensy analog input... either in Retropie nor Recalbox.
