Re: Screen goes blank after selecting game or menu

You need to have the sound card hooked up to have it all work. It was happening to me as well. I knew it was not going to work but I was just testing to see that both my Pi's are working. You have to modify the splash screen file to get it to work without sound. Wermy has posted how to do it in anot...

Re: First attempt

Nice build. I like that you used a different brand then Altoids. I am still waiting on the next batch of PCBs and screens for the two builds I'm doing.

Re: MintyPi image not booting?

Great thanks. Now I just got to figure out how to get the splash screen to work and why the size aspects are all wrong. I'll try reburning the image again on a fresh formatted SD card.

Re: MintyPi image not booting?

I was checking to make sure my Pi zeros are working and get stared on getting used to working with Pi computers in general. Anyway both Pi's work which is good but I only got the RetroPi image to work. The images on display were also bigger then the screen on my TV. I burned the latest image from th...

Re: Powering the Pi

I was asking how to wire up the diodes in the wireing diagram thread and Helder said that it can drop the voltage to the point of browning out or not powering the components. You probably need some really low resistance diodes to make this work. And thanks for posting a picture of how to wire these ...

Re: Help, tactile Switches

For Altoids I just went to a corner market and they had all the flavors. You can get a blank tin from adafruit as well. The blank tin has the advantage of not having the cover raised with the Altoids logo stamp. I am using a blank tin for mine and my friend wanted a blue wintergreen Altoids tin. The...

Yes they are the same size as an Altoids tin. I'm using one for one of my builds. I plan to etch it with a logo.

Re: Wiring Diagram: mintyPi controller PCB

Hey everyone. This is my first post. I'm building two MintyPi's for me and a friend and I would like to add the diodes in so it can charge and still be played. Can someone post a picture or circle where they go in the diagram please. It would really help me out.
