Re: BassTop SNES Case Modifications and Help Needed

I didn't buy any extra parts except the helder power strip i had layout around. I basically ditched the board that's in there. The L shape one. I wired the buttons to the pins needed for the script and everything works as expected. However, I recommend maybe returning this case and ordering this one...

Re: [GUIDE] Simple Shutdown/Turn on Button

So, there's a new - really awesome case out (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G4YTWQN) that comes with safe shutdown/reset - but you can use their script on any pi setup: https://github.com/RetroFlag/retroflag-picase Just wire a shutdown button to GPIO 3 and a reset button to GPIO 2 and an LED to 14 and...

Re: [GUIDE] Simple Shutdown/Turn on Button

HoolyHoo referred me to this post to help me setup a safe shutdown on my SNESPi. I ended up writing an installer to setup this script if anyone finds it useful.

Thanks HoolyHoo - I think I have a good idea how to do the safe shutdown portion but I'm not sure how it's going to work with the power button as in powering on/off

BassTop SNES Case Modifications and Help Needed

I bought this SNES Raspberry Pi Case and love it but the buttons are for a hard shutdown and reset. I'm wanting to modify it to run a safe shutdown but I'm not sure what these buttons are going to. The traces go to a chip then the board itself goes to the 5v and ground on the pi. Which is another is...

Need help figuring out new 5v screen mod

I've used the BW screens often but this is the first I've seen this one and it's not listed in the wiki. Does anyone know how to mod this OR can you explain how I could try and figure it out?

I’ll try 4.4 again but I had a ton of issues unrelated to your theme. It’s been easier to just stick with what works.

Re: Freeplay Theme - EmulationStation/RetroPie theme optimized for small screens

Does this theme not work with 4.3? After I install and activate the theme, it's not looking like your screenshots. It's just text for each system and black and white overall colors.
