Buttons don't stick out far enough

Hey guys, I'm having some issues with my build. The X and Y button holes from the bracket aren't really lining up with the case holes, and as a result don't stick out far enough? I was wondering if anyone had any solutions to this problem. The case was a laser-cut case from someone on the forums, an...

Battery Safety

Hey guys, I searched the forum for this question but didn't find anything. So I've reached the point of the build where I solder the battery to the charger. I've never done this before and I'm concerned about the battery catching fire or exploding. Are there any tips or advice to safely solder the b...

Re: How to connect via ssh over wifi to your Pi from desktop computer without attached screen, or keyboard, or even butt

If we input the wrong network name (used a 5gz network and pi can only use 2.4?) in the wpa_supplicant file, can we make a change? (do we just recreate the file?)

Re: My first build ever. [log]

Updated main post, don't know if it shows up. Worried about doing the battery though. Anyone recommend a specific temp to solder the battery or have tips? I don't know anyone that can do it for me so I have to try myself.

Do I need to do this through the raspberry pi? I'm not on a linux machine. I know the pi uses linux.

Micro SD card incorrect size?

hey guys, i searched the forums and found a post about the file size of the micro sd card shrinking after flashing the mintypi image to it. This happened to me. I formatted a 16gb sd card and flashed the mintypi image to it from the wiki. When it was done, it looked like the sd card only had 4gb. Is...

My first build ever. [log]

Oh wow, this is kind of a nerve-wracking endeavor, haha. I have all the parts currently (except for the sound card) so I started with the tin. https://i.imgur.com/PcVo1J5.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VsbkMun.jpg ---------------------------- [12/14/17] - I was waiting for Helder's practice boards to pract...

Re: MintyPi Practice Solder Boards {Ruind These and NOT Your Real Boards}

Oh man this is awesome! I bought 3 of each. This is exactly what I needed! I was really worried about doing this step because I'm new to this whole experience. This will give me a lot more confidence to move forward. Thanks a lot Helder!

Re: Site updates and sudomod swag!

I sell shirts on Teepublic too, and they have very regular sales. Of course, this means Wermy gets less money per shirt, but if you feel like their price-tag is a little too high, wait for a sale. They tend to have them every month. Their shirt quality is really high though. I really do wish they ga...
