I might just #D print my case in dense durable plastics and smooth it out with high grit sandpaper. It would allow more space and easy opening and closing of the case.

I rewire the TV connector part to save space and to make sure it works just in case.

What rewiring do you do for a screen that can already run on 5 volts? Do you just disconnect the corner Large TV wire connections and rewire that part?
