Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ
Just saw all of this. Check connectivity on all your connections. Something isn't wired right. If you followed the instructions, it should work. I would check the sw and gnd and also your vout and gnd. Also try to manually bridge sw and gnd as that should turn the switch on too. Let me know how it g...

Can't until after the weekend. According to the spec, it pulls up to VBATFelix wrote:Will do, also can you measure what the voltage is between the EN pin and GND.Popcorn wrote:Keep us posted. Happy to adopt your modal if it works.

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ
Hey, interesting! Can I see a working model?Felix wrote:@Camble, I think I found a solution but it actually makes the pololu obselete. The solution is mechanical in the meaning of a small relay switch. I'll attach a picture of the wiring.

Re: PWM audio filter help
I have GPIO feeding the filter. Then a single connection coming out of the filter off of the 10uf capacitor which goes to L-IN on the Pot. L-Out is connected to Audio+ on the amp. And GND on the Pot is connected to Audio- on the amp. Thats basically it. Oh, and my pot sucks. I'm desoldering another ...

Don't want to speak for him but Push and Hold/Latching means like the one that I'm using. For him? Like for yourself? That was a quote from your first post here. But now i see on the pictures that you used those tactile push buttons switches for this, i guess? Then it is a momentary switch. T...

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ
I was originally going to use the tact switches since I have like 100 of them! But I bought small DPDT latching switches for it instead because I wanted to be able to disconnect the batteries when putting away the unit for longer periods of time. Otherwise, it's really just in 'Standby' mode with t...

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ
So, is it possible to use a double slide switch and a transistor to pull the EN pin down. Am I understanding correctly? If you connected a dpdt slide switch to both the pololu and to the en of the Powerboost then you would effectively bypass all the graceful shutdowning. Since you would then be doi...

Kapton tape. This stuff handles extreme heat! You can put a soldering gun right on it.BrownMuffin wrote:How is this tape called? I see it being used a lot in electronics project.
