Re: How to hide boot up messages and icons on Raspberry Pi

Nope. The boot up video works. I have a custom one setup and that's the only thing you see besides the ES logo before the ES wheel menu. It just hides the console messages, the initial splash rainbow image and the raspberry icon. I can confirm that. My video even overlays the Emulation Station spla...

Re: Anyone using Retropie 4.0?

My first comment about Retropie 4.0 is that the default Font size they are using in Emulation Station is significantly smaller than what they were using in 3.x, making the ROM lists completely illegible on a 320 x 240 screen. Anyone know how to adjust the font size in Emulation Station to what it wa...

Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu

^^ Thanks! As an update, I eventually got the circuit working! But it's a damn weird configuration. Going to do some more tests with Camble and he'll probably report back with revisions to his guide.

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ

Wow I haven't been here for a bit. This thread is like a life of it's own. hah. And yeah, the low battery warning would would work with or without the pololu. Since the LowBatt LED is tied directly to a GPIO pin and it's all monitored by software. The software then does the shutdown process (which i...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

Using Raspian with Retropie. You should try Recalbox. Can you run @popcorn shutdown script with recalbox? Yes, SidSilver did all the hard work. Apparently you need the latest Recalbox 4.1 (I think) because previous versions don't have omxplayer which is used for the warning video...

Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu

A show of hands? How many others have been able to get this circuit working? Wondering if you could take photos of your circuit. I really want this circuit to work but there's a couple of us that haven't be able to make it work yet. Wondering if it's something to do with my brand of JFET. I have Mot...
