Re: Kapton and double sided tape.

Thanks. I'll have to get some of it. I was more worried about not having a piece wide enough than thin enough. The 20mm is just a few dollars cheaper than the 1". How about this for the VHB tape? https://www.ebay.com/itm/3M-VHB-4905-Double-Sided-Clear-Transparent-Acrylic-Foam-Adhesive-Tape-Long-2M/4...

Re: Kapton and double sided tape.

Thanks for the tip. I was just worried about the VMB because I wanted to be able to try again if I didn't get the placement correct. I will just have to try a few trial runs without the tape to practice. How about this for Kapton tape? https://www.amazon.com/Temperatures-Resistance-Golden-Polyimide-...

Kapton and double sided tape.

Is there any particular type or size of Kapton tape that is required for this project? Also, What about Gorilla double sided mounting tape? Is that strong enough without being too strong for holding the parts into the lid? This is my first build and I don't have any of these already laying around.

Re: Bluetooth headphones with a MintyPi ?

Were you able to get it to work? Can you use Bluetooth audio on the MintyPi or even regular Retropie?

Re: TintyPi Custom Build [Completed]

I'm thinking of doing a blank tin as well with logos like this. I'm going to see if I can find someone locally to laser engrave on the tin. I'm trying to decide what to put on it. Definitely Retropie, MintyPi, Sudomod, Emulation Station, and Helder. Do Wermy or HoolyHoo have logos too? I want to ack...

Re: MintyPi XL - The Remix

That looks great! I'm only just starting my first MintyPi but am already trying to figure out what to do next. That looks like a great project and it would be a fun thing to build for my son.

Re: 5 vs 6mm Tacticle Switches

Will a 5mm work for the function button? Is the faceplate too thick for the 5mm to be used easily? How much of the 5mm button sticks out for the shoulder buttons? I don't think 1 extra mm would be too back if I just went with the 6X6X6s.

5 vs 6mm Tacticle Switches

I'm embarking on my MintyPi journey and am ordering parts. The wiki calls for 6X6X5mm tactile switches while in the new video Wermy says the function button would work with a 6X6X6. Instead of ordering two different size buttons, would either size work for both the shoulder and function buttons? Any...
