Re: 3D Printing Forum

In that case, just tell them you want it double size (200%). It's nothing special or hard, all slicers (the programs that translate an stl into printable code) have the ability to scale so you don't need to mess with the STL files, just tell them 200% size

Change the print scale in Cura or Simplify3D (or whatever slicer you're using) to 200%

Re: Rpi Zero Power

Yeah, I mean supply power. I presume in wermys it comes from his little power board. The +ve/-ve under the micro usb port are connected to my screen as per the guide so wasn't sure on how he did the Pi power (Ignoring any buttons/switches/power-boost/batteries etc, just the physical power connection...

Rpi Zero Power

Quick Q for those that have built this already - how do you power the Pi? Via the GPIO +5v and GND Pins? ================================================================= Scrap that, I'll stop being lazy and I'll desolder my LCD pins, and connect them to a power strip board and connect the RPiZero t...

What does the decoupling capacitor do? I believe it helps prevent power fluctuations and makes the reading/writing more stable (at least in theory) "A decoupling capacitor is a capacitor used to decouple one part of an electrical network (circuit) from another. Noise caused by other circuit element...
