Something like this would be perfect if I could get it to work..
(I might try this out actually, probably won't get it to work but it'll be a fun way to spend a weekend I guess, haha)

Re: Choosing a display for a gameboy pocket, need input
your gonna have to be realistic in what you want to achieve..... when people start putting restrictions as to what they want in or out of a build, chances are those builds never get completed (they just stay as ideas, that cant be pulled off) have a look at this build..... http://sudomod.com/forum/...

2.5" is so tiny tho, pretty much the same as stock, I'd want at least 2.8" ;) I also found some info on the one I mentioned: PD032VX1 PD035VX2 It would appear the PD032 is designed for beamers, and as such doesn't have a backlight.. Does that mean it's not usable? or is there some way to Macgyver so...

Nope, no clue.
In this vid (at 3:12) you get a quick shot at how it looks from the inside, but I don't see any hints as to how it all screws together..
Maybe an option could be glueing a tini L-bracket of the side of the case for the screw to grab onto?

Hello everybody, I'm considering a Gameboy pocket based build, so 3.5" displays are pretty much out from the start. Ergo; I was typing in random variations of PD035VX2 just now, and -much to my suprise- actually found an 'PD032VX1' :0 https://aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_2017112...

Choosing a display for a gameboy pocket, need input
Hello Sudomod, I found out about the concept of a pi powered gameboy about a week or two ago, and have been obsessing over it ever since. Obviously, I had to try it for myself. I'm basing my build around a gameboy pocket case (Those are somehow just sexier to me vs a dmg, don't know why) Obviously t...
