thanks so much! I got the screen working by soldering the reset pin on the pi directly to the reset pin on the board.

sorry, I meant "continuity" not "connectivity"

this is what I got from the test of connectivity from the screen to the pi- vcc is connected to 3.3v on the pi gnd is good cs is good rst is connecting to the rst on the board that I soldered to the pi, but not the pi itself. d/c is good sdi wasn't working but I added solder and now it's working fin...

when I turn on the raspberry pi the screen stays white. I can hear the sounds from the logos, but the screen stays white. this just started after I swapped out the sound card and got the sound working, and I don't know what to do. please help!

same problem here. I went through 3 cards, all of which I tested before soldering, and I swapped out my speaker a couple of times
