Re: Gpio controller with player 2
I ran this and still ran into the same issue. Since the GPIO controller is set up as a keyboard emulator it registers as a keyboard and will overrule the other configs. I have yet to find a way around this. Setting the GPIO controller up as a keyboard makes alot of sense from a single player perspec...

Gpio controller with player 2
Hello all, I have a gpio controller setup with retrogame as a keyboard for my primary GBZ controller. I want to add a usb paddle as player 2, but I cannot get it to work properly. They both work in the menus, and then they both act as player one in all games. Even changing the controller binds in re...

Re: How To - Build the PRS-Tech SNES-Zero
Ok, so I finally sorted out that I have a bad raspberry pi in my build and have replaced it. I have moved on to getting the player two paddle working and I am having no end of grief. no matter what I do both the gpio controller and usb gamepad control both players to some extent or suffer a loss of ...

Re: [For Sale] PRS-Tech SNES-Zero. Complete retro gaming in a SNES Controller
I took a risk and ordered the recommended cables since they were available. Plugged it in and still had crashing issues. I then built a test setup around a raspberry pi zero I had used previously and it worked with no issue. Seems the pi I built my prs zero around was a faulty unit. Lesson learned.....

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed
I did some more trouble shooting tonight and came across a couple of things. no. 1 - checking for python scripts shows two sets running root@retropieaaa:~# ps -aef | grep python pi 439 401 0 01:46 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh -c /usr/bin/nice -n 19 /usr/bin/python ~/GBZ-Power-Monitor_PB/gbz_power_monitor.py p...

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed
ok, so I reinstalled the power monitor script. Works the same as before. Ran python ~/GBZ-Power-Monitor_PB/gbz_power_monitor.py over SSH and then hit the switch and it shutdown like it should! Turned it back on and it went back to not shutting down. I can get the shutdown switch to work by manually ...

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed
Thanks for the prompt response. Ok, I removed the switch and powerboost components from the case, still the same issue. My powerboost lines are wired properly like the pi. How would I uninstall the power monitor script? Prolly a silly question, but I didn't seem to find instructions for that. I susp...

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed
Ok, so I have my safe shutdown (cool little product) V1.2 powerboost. Got it installed. Starts the system like it should. Wont shutdown when I turn the switch off. If I leave the switch of and shutdown from software I get a kernal panic........ Turning the switch off turns off the powerboost at this...

Re: [For Sale] PRS-Tech SNES-Zero. Complete retro gaming in a SNES Controller
Well, that's extremely disappointing....... The engineer in me would love to focus in the cause of the power problems............. I did something similar to what you are showing and ended up damaging the HDMI connector. It now has intermittent video when I move the controller due to a lack of strai...
