Re: MintyPi V3 Crackling noise from speaker and headphones

I see flux residue all around the pi GPIO. Get some soft brush like an old tooth brush and soak it in alcohol and clean it off and try to get it in between the pi and pcb. Might have to use some compressed air to get the alcohol in between the boards then let it dry out and see if it changes anythi...

Did any of you use Flux when assembling the Pi to the controller PCB? and post a picture of the Pi and controller soldered so I can get a good look if there is flux as I suspect this is the issue.
I meant to hit reply; this will send you a notification.

You just FTP in to the system like normal and delete them. If the games still don't work then you might have a corrupt bin and will need to source another version.
That worked :)

GBA bios issues

I recognize that in order to add gba bios to retro pie, the bin must be named exactly: gba_bios.bin

Before realizing this, I added two bios bins with the wrong name. I can’t figure out how to take them out and I still can’t play gba games. Does anyone know the issue?

Looking to buy MintyPi v3 Preloaded SD card

I've been struggling to get games onto my MintyPi for months now. Can someone please sell me an SD card with the MintyPi image and mainstream nes, snes, and arcade games. I'd be willing to pay $10 for it and shipping. Thanks

Re: Trouble with cyberduck on mac

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know what the MintyPi login and password is to make these changes?

Re: Trouble with cyberduck on mac

Are you sure about your PIs IP adress: usually I see something like 192.168.xxx.xxx that is provided from router DHCP to the pi. Not sure why, but if I'm downstairs (where the connection is poor) my Pi's IP address looks like 192.168.xxx.xxx But if I'm on the main floor (where connection is good) I...
