Re: Tony85's V2 Mintypi
My buddy plans on buying the V2 once i get a V3, he requested the color change I just opened it up for a quick shot. I was a bit generous with the hot glue, i had the lower bracket come loose on me once. looks good man, wouldn't mind seeing the guts of it, I'm curious how you got all that on the bac...

Tony85's V2 Mintypi

I originally did a basic build in a cinnamon tin but i decided to redo it all when people commented that i should have done it in wintergreen so i did. In the process i moved the US...

Re: Tony85's Circuit Sword build
Nice idea, yeah I can see what you mean, other option would be to find a JST SH 4pin cable that's much longer! At least the way you have done it if you need the USB port you just have the unplug the cart, as well as neatening the wiring :) very impressed Thank you! Unplugging the cartridge is no bi...

Re: Tony85's Circuit Sword build
Nice :) how did you wire up the SD card? You must have found the extra USB port on the inside, I was wondering when someone was going to use it for something!! :) Nice one I actually soldered wires directly to the pcb contacts for the usb port on the backboard. Then soldered the four wires directly...

Tony85's Circuit Sword build
Pretty basic build with a usb micro sdcard reader buried inside of a game cartridge (prs-tech board with the corner cutoff to accommodate the usb reader). While its great for killing time playing old games it's primarily used to watch videos while on my lunch break at work to keep my phone available...

Re: questions about the mintyPi v3
The V3 is a whole new beast. Your old battery will not work, sorry, you will still have to solder the PCB to the Pi, that and *maybe* shoulder buttons. The list of required parts for the V3 is as follows An Altoids tin That's all we know for certian at this time. Wermy has several pictures worth loo...
