Re: My GBZ build (99% complete)

What do you plan on doing with shutting the case? I'm experiencing the same issue.

Re: Parts for me first GBZ build

One thing I suggest is camble's safeshutdown board. Makes shut down a whole lot easier which is literally just a flip of the switch. Without it you have to go into retropie, and select shutdown system, wait for the pi to power off, THEN manual turn off your GBZ. but camble's board writes that script...

Micro B USB cable stuck in tinkerboy pro micro...

So I stripped my own 4 wire data cable, and plugged it into my pro micro on my tinkerboy for testing. But now the damn thing won't come out. Gamepad wasn't detected during testing, so I need to plug into my computer and check it out(probably should have did this before but it did say it was pre-prog...

Re: Anyone ever use the Adafruit USB C breakout board?

They both charge at the same rate it's just a different connector aka the USB C. Anything over 1A charge rate will require an inductor and be larger than these boards just because of that. USB-C in that design will not charge any faster as the author clearly states it in the description. Gotchya. T...

Re: I need feedback on my wiring diagram please.

Ahh I see. I was just looking at the usb hub in wermy's video. Interesting stuff. That solves that mystery. I guess I will have to invest into a USB hub after all. Gonna have to buy some perfboard as well that will definitely come in handy. Also gunna have to buy some more of the power wires for con...

Re: I need feedback on my wiring diagram please.

Not bad but I would change a few things to make it a little easier. :) 1. No need for a seperate power strip. Wire from power boost to Tinkerboy, Tinkerboy to Pi(vice versa would work, too). From there you will have enough left over to power and ground all of your remaining components with 5v and g...

I need feedback on my wiring diagram please.

Hello all, This post is kinda in depth. I apologize I'm completely new to tinkering in general. So please be patient with me. Ive invested a lot into this project just in pre-build, and im being very cautious. Wouldn't want to short or anything or have anything catch on fire lol. I appreciate all th...

Re: Verifying some stuff with the Tinkerboy 2.1.0.1

Could you post a picture of how you plan to wire your tinkerboy v 2.1.0.1? I also have this PCB. Im gonna sit down today and plan it all out as well. Btw, are you using camble's safe shutdown board? Im not sure if it is gonna affect the wiring. Also are you going to use a power strip board? Not sure...

Buy yourself some stainless steel 5mm M2 screws. The ones that are included with the aftermarket shells are really poor quality.
Sounds good. I will have to take a trip to the hardware store. I'll have to put less tension on the screws when tightening as well.
