Re: How to modify THIS Gearbest screen for 5v?

There are through hole soldering points for 3v3 and other things by the center chip. I was under the impression that those were used for powering the board and transmitting the video signal.

Re: How to modify THIS Gearbest screen for 5v?

Do I still use the through holes for this modification or the connector?

How to modify THIS Gearbest screen for 5v?

The wiki does not show my particular board, and a search of the forums found someone who asked how to do it, made another post that they had succeeded, but then did not respond when someone else asked how they did it. Picture of my board is attached. Also are there any other mods that need done to f...

I've already made that change and it works great on the screen :D Haven't tested HDMI yet

Breadboard to test audio out?

So I have no idea how to use a breadboard. Can someone help me with mine? I had this one lying around for a few years and it's my first one. Where do all the wires go?

(Feel free to save the image and draw lines on it if you want to help. Thanks)

Mounted screen upside down - can Teensy go somewhere else?

Matching button holes with pre-made ABXY PCB?

Drilling the extra button holes in the GBZ and THEN making the buttons is one thing. But how are you guys matching the holes you drill to the pads on the pre-made PCBs? Seems like they would be really hard to see and easy to mess up.

Probably a dumb question, but I'm just wondering.
