Re: 1.44" 128x128 pi zero hat
My first thought is to check the speed, you might has a screen that doesnt like the speed you are using Thanks for the advice. I assume you are referring to the speed in /etc/modprobe.d/fbtft.conf. I used the param from this thread (speed=40000000) which also matches the one given in waveshare's bl...

Re: 1.44" 128x128 pi zero hat
Hello, First off, thanks a ton @JamesW for the details. However, I have a problem with this 1.44" LCD Hat on a Pi Zero W. The color flickers.. EcYgHUScZjE It's like some of the signal got lost, as if color depth was dropping sporadically. It's particularly frequent in Retropie (ES and retroarch). I ...

Re: Another GBZ build yay!
Yesterday I received the speaker (from my parts list ) to replace the original part with something a little beefier. It's thicker and unfortunately also slightly (~1mm) larger than the original so I had to shave off about half of the plastic ring that holds the speaker in the case to fit the new one...

Re: Another GBZ build yay!
Question: what do people mean when they say the volume potentiometer 5th pin must be connected to ground? Which ground? The ground gpio pin on the pi zero or some other place? Well I don't know about you but in my build all grounds are connected together. So any GND, be it on the pi, usb hub or on ...

Re: Another GBZ build yay!
Oh, how sad, the tiny RPi with the cross   indeed... Where did you find the 'drill 10.8mm' Drill sheet/helper o: That was provided by @dominator with the acrylic screen. Free of charge :) Tonight I made some wiring adjustments and added another USB connector in the battery compartment. I'...

Another GBZ build yay!
Hello everyone, just another GBZ project, nothing very new here :) http://i.imgur.com/kDhxIO0.jpg I took pictures all the way through the build if you're interested, the album is here . And here's the detailed parts list (including the bits I broke or didn't end up using). I'm also taking the opport...

Re: Black Screen [Guide 03]
Yo AlexKidd2, I think I figured it out. The white wire on the Pi's composite out is GND, the other being signal. But you wired them to AV1 and AV2 on the controller board. That's the issue. The PI's signal wire should (square pad) go to either AV1 or AV2 pads (where the yellow and white cables used ...

Re: Alternative power supply help
Yes, I also assumed that they were connected to the surface mounted LEDs too, but that Chinese legend got me confused.
The 3 color LED is a good idea! Looking forward to reading about your progress

Re: Alternative power supply help
Hello there, I got the same power supply and I'm wondering if anyone is using the three empty led pads. Couldn't find anything on the internet, except for a picture with a legend in Chinese that Google translates as "reserved discharge lamp interface". So maybe it's a 3 bar discharge indicator? Has ...
