Using the flux pen like that, do I just basically "draw" a line across all the pads, or should be just dabbing the tip on each pad?

Re: Proper file set to use with MintyPi
Actually the exact set that I use is an old set. It says Blue-Point #HBN 120 on the case. Its a red envelope with all the files in it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/261808904500?ul_noapp=true Like this? or would you suggest maybe something nicer like from snap on? https://store.snapon.com/Non-Catalog-It...

Re: Proper file set to use with MintyPi
I would get something like this. You just have to make sure they are "jewelers files" as they are smaller. https://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Jewelers-Ceramic-Jewelry-10-Piece/dp/B07F1QN224/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=jewelers+files&qid=1556564838&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1 Are those the ones you used w...

Proper file set to use with MintyPi
Rather than dig through amazon reviews to try and find what I think will work best, I figure I'd just ask here. Does anyone have a link to a good file set to use for cleaning up the holes for the mintyPi?

Re: Kapton Tape Alternative?
You could use clear nail polish, that has been used to protect CPU dies from liquid metal so I imagine it might work to prevent things from shorting out on the tin. You'd have to make sure you don't have any pointy bits though that would poke through the polish.

Re: Minty Pi v3 FaQ: Pre-Order Edition!
Yes, that is kapton tape. It is just generally easier to work with, leaves very little if any residue, and heat resistant. How important is thickness here? they have stuff that is 1 mil, 1.5, and .05 I was thinking of getting the thin stuff because it seems like it would be easier to fit in the tig...

Re: Minty Pi v3 FaQ: Pre-Order Edition!
What about Kapton tape? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072Z92QZ2 is this Kapton tape? or should I be using something else? I know this is a pretty simple thing, but I've never used Kapton tape, just electrical tape. In all the build videos I see though I see Kapton being used so I figured I should follo...

Multi-color options for minty-pi V3
So I held off on ordering because I wanted to see pictures of the other multi-colored options. On the store page it says pictures coming soon, but I still don't see any. I've been watching Wermy's Instagram for it as well but nothing on there yet, unless I missed it and if that's the case I will fee...
