Re: Where is everyone from =) ?

Near Paris, France.
Actually, I live 20 minutes away from Paris, to the south.

Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions

Hey,

I have another question. Can I "fold" the yellow ribbon thing from the screen ? It kind of sticks out, so I think I need to fold it somehow :/

Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions

Thanks, that's a good advice. Newbies like me should practice first ! (I said it ;) ) Don't worry, I'll practice first, I don't won't to ruin my board. You're right, they're quiet expensive and the wait time is a bit too long. A coworker gave me a (don't know what it's called, sorry) PCB "full of ho...

Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions

Thank you for your fast reply, I appreciate that :) Now I have another question about those shoulder buttons. I got the ones provided by Tinkerboy with his Add-On Board. They are 4 pins buttons, so, my next question is : how do I figure out which pins are connected ? (do I put my trust in the plasti...

I'm not really confident when it comes to electronics or soldering (I will train myself before diving in), so I need your help. So, I have some questions: Can someone please check...

Re: Shell modifications question

Thank you for your reply.
I've gone with the right way I think, which is what you describe : do a test fit, and if something sticks out, remove it. Worked for me so far.

Thank you both for your replies :)

Re: Shell modifications question

Thanks for this link.
Do you know if that would work with the V3 + add-on board ?
My GB Shell took 1 month to be delivered, I don't want to mess it up :D

Shell modifications question

Hi everyone, I'm building my first Gameboy Zero. I'm a total noob when it comes to electronics and soldering, so I think I'll keep my build as simple as possible. I'll be using Tinkerboy Controller V3, with Tinkerboy Add-on board (volume wheel, usb port and 2 back buttons). I got nearly everything I...
