Re: [For Sale] PRS-Tech SNES-Zero. Complete retro gaming in a SNES Controller

Glad everyone is having fun with this one. I was stuck in a hotel all last week and spent a bunch of time playing Super Mario World and Final Fantasy 2 on mine!

quick question:
does the HDMI solution provide enough power to support the build-in bluetooth thingy, in order to connect a second bluetooth controller?
Yes it does.

Re: How To - Build the PRS-Tech SNES-Zero

I have updated the recommended diode in the build list to the BAT42. The 1n4148 may have too much forward voltage drop to remain in HDMI spec. Mine did work fine with the 1N4148 diode, I just wanted to make sure.

Can the optional USB be used for player 2 or does the GPIO mapping of the buttons prevent that?
Yes the optional USB should be able to be used for player 2.

I'm a big noob at all of this stuff; do you ever think you'll make a full video guide? I'm very interested in making this.
I'll be sending a board to Wermy and he is going to make a video.

Re: [For Sale] PRS-Tech SNES-Zero. Complete retro gaming in a SNES Controller

I've updated the guide. I have determined that you need a diode and not just a jumper in the HDMI power adapter. Please read the guide thoroughly. Thanks, PRS Hi PRS, the label on my diode says IN4007 MIC, is this no good and I need to get the one specified in the guide? Thanks That would work.. bu...
