Tyler's GBZ build using parts from Kite, HoolyHoo, Dextech, and Day

Just completed my 2nd Gameboy Zero build. This one uses Kite's Super AIO v1, HoolyHoo's bracket, Dextech's battery, and Day's gorilla glass screen cover. http://i.imgur.com/qEVkEMO.jpg B10LnVFvAPs http://i.imgur.com/pXkIKI0.jpg http://i.imgur.com/92wSiSh.jpg http://i.imgur.com/qf6uP4X.jpg http://i.i...

Re: My first, very vanilla, GBZ

@rodocop I've done two GBZ builds. After seeing the clarity of kite's DPI screen compared to a composite screen, I won't be going back. Kite's DPI screen looks awesome. It would be cool if someone made a PCB for just a DPI screen so everyone can have another screen option that looked really good wit...

Re: gameboy zero by the noobest guy

What size power supply are you using to test the pi? I recommend at least a 10W (5V @ 2A) power supply. That might help with flickering.

Even with a slightly blurry screen, the gameboy zero is freakin cool. Don't give up.

Re: Posible supply problem

How big is the power supply that you are using to play/charge your GBZ?

Re: GBZ shut off while charging battery

If I had to guess, it sounds like you are not supplying enough power to your gameboy zero to play and charge at the same time. Try using a 10W (5V@2A) USB power supply. Power over USB 3.0 from the xbox is only 4.5W (5V@900mA). If you have a iPad charger, try it out with the mini USB cable.

Re: [PREORDER] Custom GBZ lipo battery pack

I believe Dextech said that standard shipping to the US is still ok. Just not signed airmail orders. Has any in the US received their battery that was shipped with just standard shipping? I'm in the US and ordered standard shipping but I haven't seen mine yet (Louisiana). Keep up the good work Dexte...
