To fit two 1860 batteries I have to gremel out top part of back cover and battery compartment.

It is cheap lcd connected via composite output of the raspberry pi so no GPIO :lol:

This is usable picture. Connect ground L and R channel from amplifier to this connector. Then use left or right channel as positive wire for speaker. Removing USB and RJ connector is a piece of cake with a good heatgun but you need to remove the extra solder on all mounting pins first. Headphones jack when used is cutting off the speaker. I wired ground ,left and right channel to audio jack and then used just the left channel for the speaker conn...

I used a round cutouts pcb for X and Y button from faulty original snes gamepad - these are covered with some graphite preventing them from oxidizing. Simply drill a smaller hole and use some small file to smooth edges. For the buttons I have used a 1500 grit wet sand paper.
