Re: Non functional screen help

You can test that you have a proper image on the sd card and that the pi boots up with a hdmi cord hooked up to a tv. as rodocop said, the square hole is the tv out. Use either the yellow or white wire only to connect to the tv out.

Re: Is my monitor recoverable?

Use a desoldering braid or sucker to remove all that solder and gunk from where you removed the regulator. Clean it up as much as you can, make sure theres no shorts from solder, and do the 5v conversion. Start from there. Good luck.

Ive been on the lookout for a glass option thats squared off on the bottom right corner but so far no luck. If you happen ...

If i have been running the gbz for some time (enough for the pi to get hot) i would try to plug in a mini hdmi and it wou...

Re: Kalei808's first GBZ build

Nice build. Really like your implementation of the shoulder buttons and the display glass. Unfortunately these shoulder buttons are tricky with the Dextech battery :/ May I design a new backplate with these buttons inside: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B008DGA5BW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie...
