I've updated the guide. I have determined that you need a diode and not just a jumper in the HDMI power adapter. Please read the guide thoroughly. That's very nice..
I'm a bit concerned by using epoxy to glue the screwposts on the AIO.. But it's a way nicer solution than glueing the pi down..
You used the removed screwposts from the front part of the case right? The ones removed to make space for the screen..

Uhm.. You're using the original gameboy cart reader, so I can't be sure (I used the ds lite gba cart reader). In my pictures you can see that I used the left hand side pins for the wiring.
What you can do to understand exactly is use a multimeter to check the pins..
