Re: What systems can the mintypi emulate?

It would be nice if Retropie included a compatibility listing, the way Lakka does. But alas... This is the list of every system supported by Retropie: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Supported-Systems The Pi Zero can emulate most of these, up to and including the 16-bit systems (SNES...

Re: The ghosting annoyance! Help!!

What would be a good acceleration to set? Not to be glib, but, whatever gets rid of the ringing. It's not really an exact science, and everyone's machine will differ. Ringing occurs because there is elasticity or play in your printer. The print head's inertia causes it to overshoot the corner (slig...

Re: Anyone from Canada here?

Re: SLA printing services

Simple: Shapeways, i.materialise, Sculpteo. Upload your files, pick the material/resolution you want, then wait. You'll pay a premium for the convenience though. More complicated - 3DHubs. Upload your models, sort through local printers to find the material/resolution you want - you'll probably need...

Re: Using a differnt Pi model

No.

More specifically, you might be able to fit the Pi3 to the PCB (though you'd have to strip one of the USB sockets, and may have a capacitor in the way), but it absolutely would not fit inside an Altoids tin if you do.

Re: Rasberry Pi 3 Model B memory Card

IIRC the Samsung Evo/Evo+/Pro cards were the fastest in benchmark tests, with Sandisk Ultras being slightly behind. And they're not stupidly expensive: https://www.pidramble.com/wiki/benchmarks/microsd-cards It's also worth pointing out, you may not need a 64GB card. Unless you're installing a bunch...
