Re: Gameboy Zero injection moulded custom DMG cases

Just wondering if anyone's looked into the possibility of manufacturing a DMG case that's pre-moddified so that you can get straight on to the electric side of things? Where's the fun in that? :D I think part of the fun are: 1. Modding the case to suit it to your liking and making it unique/persona...

Re: 3D Printing: Back Button Assembly with Fan Vent

@Fleder
I thought of putting the buttons in the battery cover. However, I feel that area is too low for the index and middle fingers to reach.

Re: 3D Printing: Back Button Assembly with Fan Vent

Played around the design a bit to check for feasibility and 3d print-ability and here's what I came up with. It would be more difficult to 3D print the entire assembly if the button casing is connected to the fan vent as a single piece so I decided to design it as separate parts. This way, one will ...

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ

Thinking of implementing your graceful shutdown solution to solve for the "low batt too soon issue" with the PB1000C. However, I've got two questions that I hope you can help confirm: May i hijack this thread to ask you one question? If you are using the PB1000C, why do you soldered on a protective...

Re: Popcorn's GBZ

I realized I posted my graceful shutdown question to Popcorn's GBZ thread. So as not to derail the topic, I've posted another question in the graceful shutdown thread. Sorry Popcorn :(

@Popcorn Thinking of implementing your graceful shutdown solution to solve for the "low batt too soon issue" with the PB1000C. However, I've got two questions that I hope you can help confirm: 1. UART TX (BCM 14) Connection As you may recall, I cut my RPi2 leaving me with only the odd-numbered pins....

This guy did the same thing but shows how to use a scanner lens attached to a phone to magnify the ribbon cable wires as he solders it:

Re: Popcorn's GBZ

@Popcorn Glad to hear. Just want to clarify though if the added circuitry of the graceful shutdown resolved the PB1000C issue of triggering the low batt status too early? Sorry, been away from here as work has dumped 3 simultaneous projects on me at once so I haven't been around. The Battery Monito...

Re: 3D Printing: Back Button Assembly with Fan Vent

@RazorX
Will have this in my 2nd build and will post progress once I start with it.

@Hathe
Interesting board... I have not heard about it until you mentioned it.

@jlane52641
Glad that you liked the idea. :) I will post more details of my progress so others can follow and use it too.
