Re: Wanted: working 3.5" LCD pre-modded to 5V - UK/EU only

MiL0, did you purchase the wiki's BW screen from the Amazon UK link? It shouldn't require modding to run at 5v. yes, I've bought three in total from Amazon UK using the link in the wiki and each screen is different! (none of them worked on 5v out of the box and I've really struggled to get the mod ...

Thanks everyone. But what I'm looking for is someone to do the mod for me. I'm willing to pay!

Wanted: working 3.5" LCD pre-modded to 5V - UK/EU only

I've ordered 3 screens from Amazon and haven't been able to get any of them to work! Would anyone be willing to buy a monitor for me, mod it, test it and then sell it to me? I'm in Brighton, UK.

Re: Anyone know the Gray Color name for the gameboy?

Wanted to pick up some paint but wanted the same gray color. I will probably white wash it and not just put paint on it. Was wondering if there was a way to get the right color cray from home depot or some other department store. Any thoughts? In the UK, you can take an item with you to the shop an...

Re: Gameboy Zero injection moulded custom DMG cases

Fleder posted some models in the forum for someone else. (edit) Here: http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=874#p8993 Those models look great :) While we're talking about differences/mods, how do we feel about 6 buttons on the front? That would make n64 games better, a...

Re: Gameboy Zero injection moulded custom DMG cases

I think designing a new case based on the DMG dimensions might be the safest solution, from a legal perspective. It'd be a shame if Nintendo shut this all down because we'd infringed on their IP. This also allows us to design it so that all the components fit perfectly. Also, further down the road, ...

Re: Gameboy Zero injection moulded custom DMG cases

The cost to set up such a thing would be $20,000 to $30,000 easy. The tooling alone is $5,000 to $10,000 easy, the rest would be for buying the thousands of molds a company would make as they won't waste their time on 100 or 500 orders.
